This is a password-protected self-extracting zipped file that yields five Notes databases, with hidden design:

  1. The NotesTracker database (the design and logging repository).
  2. An example implementation based on the familiar Lotus Discussion database (R4.6).
  3. A second example, based on the familiar Lotus Public Address Book (R4.6).
  4. A third example - a simple Phone Book and Yellow Pages application.
  5. A fourth example - a simple Customer database

 

The sample databases contain some sample documents that you may use for experimentation or clear out if desired

Note: Starting with NotesTracker Version 5.0 we developed these databases using Domino Designer 7 (specifically, R7.0.2). The databases all have the .NSF file extension, and they should open properly in Notes Release 5, Release 6, and probably also under Release 4. If you are still using these older releases of Lotus Notes and are having problems opening them under R5 or R4, then please notify us via e-mail so that we may help you arrange a compatible set of databases.

 

TIP: You will probably also want to download and make use of the FREE application: Simple Signer - to easily Sign all design elements in a Lotus Notes database so that the NotesTracker agents will execute in your own environment. Also download the free Notes databases SDMS - a Simple Document Management System and
CAPTURE: Customer And Project Tracking + Usage Reporting Extensions (a CRM application) both of which have NotesTracker built in and so can be used to broaden your evaluation.

This is a password-protected self-extracting zipped file that yields the same five Notes databases as in the evaluation package above.

However, with the licensed copies of the databases, you get the unhidden ("open") design. This allows your Notes developers to use the toolkit to set up usage tracking for any of your Notes databases. You may use the NotesTracker design unmodified, or adapt and extend the NotesTracker code to best suit your unique usage tracking requirements or to fit in with your corporate database design standards.

 

The databases contain some test documents that you should clear out before putting NotesTracker into production..
 

Note: Starting with NotesTracker Version 4.4 we developed the databases using Domino Designer 6 (specifically, R6.5.4). The databases all have the .NSF file extension, and they should open properly in Notes Release 5 and probably also under Release 4. Prior to this version we distributed the databases with the .NS4 file extension so that they would be able to be opened with Notes R4. (If you have any problems opening them under R5 or R4 then please notify us via e-mail so that we may arrange a compatible set of databases for you.)

You will should also download and use: Simple Signer - Freeware to easily Sign all design elements in a Lotus Notes database (to sign the NotesTracker example databases so that the agents in them will be able to execute on your Domino servers).
